Apprenticeship

Finca Renacer’s main focus is on natural building projects and workshops with bamboo and clay. Our apprenticeship program is a unique opportunity to learn about natural building and work on exciting and meaningful projects.

The apprenticeship program focuses on bamboo construction, which is a sustainable and durable material. Apprentices will have the opportunity to learn about bamboo construction techniques and how it can be used to create beautiful and long-lasting structures. We engage in the techniques that the student is most interested in (for example making furniture, making houses, working with clay, making lashing, making tools etc.)

The apprenticeship program is a hands-on experience that provides participants with the opportunity to work on real projects.

Apprentices will work alongside experts in natural building and learn valuable skills that will serve them well in the future. Additionally, apprentices will also have the opportunity to live at Finca Renacer, which will allow them to experience community living and and learn about sustainable agriculture. Become part of the family and taste the variety and abundance of exotic fruits and vegetables and get to know the culture of the Ticos (that’s what Costa Ricans call themselves).

The price per person per month is $ 1.500. The price includes the teaching, 3 meals a day, accommodation, use of the kitchen, internet and washing machine.

Don’t miss the opportunity to live in contact with nature in 8 hectares (20 acres) and borders directly on the nature reserve, and the jungle surrounding the Finca is part of Costa Rica‘s wildlife corridor.
